About HushRooms
HushRooms was built by a musician who got tired of the same frustrations — rooms fully booked by 6pm, equipment that had seen better days, and no way to rehearse at the hours that actually suit a working band.
And the toilets…!
The idea is simple: a rehearsal space that works around musicians, not the other way around. By going completely silent — every instrument through headphones, no speaker cabinets anywhere in the building — we can operate 24 hours a day in locations that would otherwise be impossible. No noise complaints. No curfew. No one telling you time is up.
Because everything is wired in and waiting, there’s no setup either. No hauling amps, no miking cabs, no soundcheck — headphones on and you’re playing in under a minute. A three-hour session at HushRooms gives you more real playing time than a four-hour slot somewhere you have to build the room first.
The equipment is built around what a serious band actually needs. A Roland electronic kit with proper mesh heads. Professional valve guitar and bass heads running direct. A stage keyboard. A Behringer XR18 giving everyone their own monitor mix through quality headphones. Live streaming and multitrack recording built in, so you can capture a session whenever you want. The kind of rig that makes you want to play better.
Silent, 24-hour music rehearsal and production rooms. Ringwood, Hampshire.
HushRooms is opening its first location in Ringwood, serving musicians across the Bournemouth, Southampton, and New Forest area. More locations are planned once the first site is running well — each built to exactly the same spec, so you always know what you’re walking into.
